So this week it has finally happened... I'm officially self employed and running my own business!
It's been a long road - but to finally be here is a massive achievement for me - something I thought would never happen. It really is a dream come true and I'm pretty proud of myself for getting to this point.
After months of research, planning and preparation, things feel quite a bit different now I'm here. It's an odd feeling to think that my whole routine now needs to change - with a few unexpected things thrown in thanks to social distancing, school closures etc. It's a strange time to be going into business but as my products are mail order, I hope I will be one of the luckier ones... that is of course assuming that people like my work and want to buy it! I've been really reassured since launching the business by the lovely supportive comments coming through on social media... as well as receiving my first few orders!
Thank you to everyone who has liked and shared my posts, registered on my website or purchased from me - it means the world. They say that every time someone buys from a small business, the owner does a little happy dance. I can now confirm this to be fact!
